Since the 8bitdo USB Wireless Adapter got an update for the Genesis Mini I was wondering if it would work in combination with the Retro-Bit Sega Genesis 8-Button Arcade Pad with Bluetooth. This would be the perfect combination since you could than use the controller for other consoles as well (Retro-Bit unfortunately does not offer a Bluetooth receiver).Of course I could just take the 2.4 Ghz version from Retro-Bit but the Bluetooth version would be better from my point of view since you are more flexible.Does someone have this combination at home and could try it out?.
.the pad has already been set to 6 button from the settings menu.I have been trying to configure a controller to be setup like a 6 button Sega Genesis/MegaDrive controller.I have my controller setup with RetroArch. With SNES I was able to remap the buttons to match the same setup as a real SNES controller using /opt/retropie/configs/snes/retroarch.cfg - I was also successful doing this with NES.When I attempt to the do the same thing for Genesis in /opt/retropie/configs/megadrive/retroarch.cfg the buttons still don't match up.
I've retested a number of times and each time I think I have it mapped correctly but when I go in game it's not even close.I'm using Super Street Fighter 2 to test the buttons since it's a pretty straight forward test.Light Kick = AMedium Kick = BHard Kick = CLight Punch = XMedium Punch = YHard Punch = ZBut for the life of me no matter how sure I am I have it mapped up right it isn't.Any advice?.
